Michel’s Patisserie

The Challenge

Michel’s Patisserie needed an easy to manage WordPress and WooCommerce package, to allow customers to design their own cakes, place orders online and pick up at their local store. The website required a modern and responsive design, based on guidelines from their fresh rebrand. The project had a strict and tight deadline due to internal system migrations, but required our usual quality assurance measures to ensure the integrity of this iconic brand was upheld.

The Solution

It was only upon gaining a rich understanding of the project goals and deep integration requirements, that we started building a slick front end interface accompanied by a clean WordPress admin panel. We then built custom WordPress Plugins to integrate WooCommerce with Topperoo (a cake designer) and Stripe Connect (to send transaction funds to the respective store). We further built an integration to push each transaction to the respective store’s POS system, to allow the store to fulfil the order with ease.
