Community Enterprise Queensland (CEQ) plays a vital role in supporting remote Indigenous and Aboriginal communities across the Torres Strait, Northern Peninsula Area, and other regions of North Queensland. Through 30 retail stores, CEQ delivers essential services providing fresh produce, groceries, fuel, homewares, hardware, and more. Despite their impactful purpose and extensive community footprint, CEQ’s online presence did not fully reflect their community-first ethos, diverse operations, or the breadth of services they offer. They needed a website that could elevate visibility of CEQ’s multiple store types, celebrate their Indigenous workforce and community impact, streamline access to news, market days, career opportunities, and corporate information and importantly, be easy to manage, scalable and flexible for evolving content and localised needs.
